The hotel is a short walk from the train station, so it gets lively with tourists once the Savannahlander train arrives.

This old two-story building, is part of the Queensland Heritage Register and has the at “Australia Outback” atmosphere and feel. It is the only hotel form many kilometres around and a central meeting point for people in this remote northern central Queensland town.
