Kununurra has many choices accommodation, but our favorite one is Freshwater East Kimberley Apartments.
Freshwater East Kimberley Apartments is modern apartment style accommodation, with a variety of studios and 1,2 and 3-bedroom apartments.
All apartments except studios have fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, oven, and dishwasher. Studio apartments have only small refrigerator and microwave, but you can still cook using BBQ in common pool area.
There is no washing machine in each unit, but there is a common laundry room by the pool where you can use the washing machine and dryer for free of charge.
Freshwater East Kimberley Apartments also has a lovely swimming pool.
After exploring wilderness around Kununurra, you can enjoy swimming or relax by the pool. There are also barbecue facilities available by the pool.
The front desk staff are also very kind and friendly. They gave us very good advice on the tours, and also gave us late check-out without any extra charge.
Freshwater Kimberley East Apartments is the best accommodation in Kununurra in my opinion. It is located approx 1.5km from the town center of Kununurra, in convenient location if you have a car.
But if you do not have a car, you may want to choose somewhere right at center of the town, so that you can easily walk to a supermarket and restaurants. In that case, recently renovated Best Western Cambridge Hotel Kununurra will be a good option.
